Biden Border Crisis
Instead of addressing the crisis at our border, Democrats brought a mass amnesty bill to the House floor for a vote this week.

There is no question we have a crisis at our border. The number of unaccompanied children illegally crossing the border increased 63% last month. This is truly a humanitarian and security crisis, but the current Administration is not adequately addressing it. In fact, they are not addressing it at all.

Instead of doing more to protect our border, the Administration is rolling back policies that discourage this kind of mass migration.

We need a comprehensive and bipartisan solution to this crisis that discourages entering illegally and rewards following the law.

We discuss the Biden Border Crisis in this episode of Buddy's Briefing.

Improving state strategic stockpiles
The COVID-19 pandemic made it very clear that we need to be better prepared for future health emergencies. Over the past year, many states were not prepared to deal with the large influx of patients needing ventilators and other medical products. Additionally, countries like China and India withheld therapeutics and pharmaceutical ingredients that we needed here in the United States.

That's why I reintroduced the State Strategic Stockpile Readiness Act this week to ensure this doesn't happen again. This legislation will make sure states are prepared and able to respond quickly by having their own stockpile ready in addition to the federal strategic stockpile.
