This week the Radical Left has gone after the American taxpayer and now they are taking the fight to our unborn children. Democrats forced through the most anti-life bill in our nation's history.
I voted against Democrats’ “Abortion on Demand Act” (H.R. 3755) because it overrides all state and federal pro-life provisions, enabling abortion on demand up until birth.
Democrats’ “Abortion on Demand Act” (H.R. 3755), which overrides all state and federal pro-life provisions allowing abortions to allow abortions up until birth; I voted against it.
This radical bill federalizes abortion on demand throughout a woman's pregnancy, ending the lives of countless babies. This is yet another example of the Democrats' desire to trample over state powers and concentrate more power in the federal government.
From conception, each baby created is a unique life, with DNA distinct from the mother. They have their own God-given human dignity and constitutionally guaranteed right to life. Abortion is a direct denial of this reality. To Democrats, these unborn children aren’t even worth acknowledging. Eliminating an innocent human life is despicable. It’s ugly, and abortion is no exception. Yet, Democrats claim that a practice that ends innocent human life is health care. Real healthcare protects both the life of the mother and the life of her unborn child. I will always fight for those who cannot stand up for themselves — including the unborn. I will continue to work to remove this horrible practice from our nation.
