Registered Pill Drop Off Locations

In the thirty years I served as a community pharmacist before my election to Congress I witnessed and participated in some of the greatest advancements in the history of medicine. The advances in pharmaceuticals over my career can be described as nothing less than a miracle.  I have been blessed to watch prescription medications save lives.  However, at the same time, I have watched as addiction to them ruined careers, families, and lives.

Today, according to the CDC, 44 people in the United States die every day from prescription painkillers. Overdoses are now the leading cause of accidental death in the US exceeding even car accidents.

Prescription medications have become the target of theft and abuse and it is critical we are all playing our part in combatting this epidemic by safely disposing unused medications. Together, we can end this epidemic plaguing our nation.
