WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter introduced a resolution celebrating the 150th Anniversary of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. In 1997, St. Joseph’s began its joint affiliation with Candler Hospital, forming the largest and most experienced health care provider in Southeast Georgia. “Since 1875, the fantastic staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital have served the people of Georgia’s First Congressional District faithfully. They have worked tirelessly to save lives and keep our friends and neighbors healthy. We are so grateful for their 150 years of resolute service to our district and excited for the many years to come,” said Rep. Carter. “Throughout St. Joseph’s Hospital’s history, we have been blessed with steadfast support from our community leaders.
