Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (GA-01) released the following statement after the Trump Administration's introduction of a tax reform proposal:
"I have long said that America’s antiquated and overly burdensome tax code is the greatest threat to economic opportunity in this country. I am relieved that we finally have a president that agrees. The bold proposal introduced by the Trump Administration today is an outline that will work towards a simpler and fairer tax system to deliver relief and empower all Americans to achieve the American dream.
