Carter Votes to Support ICE, Law Enforcement at the Border

Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-Ga.) voted today to support the efforts of law enforcement at our nation's borders.

The resolution, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives, denounces the abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and supports the law enforcement and military personnel that work to provide security at the border.

"I am proud to support the brave men and women who risk their lives to protect our nation and enforce our laws,"
said Carter. "ICE and other law enforcement officers and military personnel at the border work tirelessly to rescue victims of trafficking, arrest gang members, seize narcotics, and prevent terrorists from entering our nation. These Americans are on the front line protecting our homeland and our citizens. It's disgraceful that my Democratic colleagues fail to support these law enforcement officers and continue to use them in their political push for open borders."
