Carter Announces Federal Grant to Repair Boat Docks on Cumberland Island National Seashore

Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-Ga.) today announced a United States Department of Transportation grant to repair three public boat docks on the Cumberland Island National Seashore. The $3,505,189.00 grant will repair damages to the docks caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017.
"I thank President Trump and the administration for awarding this grant today," said Carter."As the representative of the entire coast of Georgia, I understand the critical importance of not only preparing for severe weather, but also ensuring recovery.
