Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-Ga.) today applauded President Donald J. Trump for signing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
"The USMCA is a big win for American workers, farmers and families," said Carter. "I applaud President Trump for signing it today and working so hard to get it across the finish line. The agreement is expected to create 176,000 new jobs, spur $68 billion in economic growth, create a new chapter on digital trade and expand agricultural markets. While some are obsessed with a baseless impeachment charade, I'm proud to work with President Trump to deliver real results for the American people." Carter strongly supported the USMCA when it was before the United States House of Representatives. |
