Rep. Carter teams with The Weather Channel to promote hurricane preparedness

In a new public service announcement, U.S. Representative Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) is teaming up with The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore to promote hurricane and severe weather preparedness.
Together, Carter and Cantore urge Georgians to do their part when severe weather strikes by creating a plan, practicing their plan, and staying alert for severe weather. “In the midst of hurricane season, it is important that all Georgians do their part to prepare for severe weather events,” said Carter. “As we saw with the tornado generated by Hurricane Elsa last week, storms are unpredictable. I’ll always work to ensure Georgians have the resources we need before and after the storm but it’s important for everyone to prepare a plan and stay alert.”
