There is an increased demand for U.S. passports as international travel restrictions are lifted. Unfortunately, the Department of State continues to suffer from a backlog and routine service is currently taking approximately 18 weeks.
Please take a moment to check your passports and ensure they are valid for a sufficient amount of time to accommodate your trip if your or your family are considering travel over the next several months. As a general rule, your passport must be valid for six months beyond the date you plan to exit the United States.
