WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) released the following statement after voting in favor of H. Res. 1102, the Further Consolidation Appropriations Act, 2024: “Against the odds, House Republicans were able to secure conservative wins in this appropriations package that will help strengthen our border security, save taxpayer dollars, fully fund veterans’ health care and benefits, support our ally Israel, and prevent the Biden administrations’ woke regulations. This is an important step towards restoring fiscal responsibility and fulfilling our Commitment to America. We will continue building on these wins in 2025.”
