WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) today applauded the U.S. House of Representatives’ approval of his amendment to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) protecting funding for Combat Readiness Training Centers (CRTC) operated by the U.S. Air National Guard.
The U.S. Air National Guard provides pilot training, regional training conferences, classified engagements, and regional operations support at each of its four CRTCs, including its location in Savannah, Georgia's Air Dominance Center.
“It is critical that the United States continue to invest in world-class CRTCs so that our troops have the resources and trainings necessary to provide for our nation’s defense. Unfortunately, this administration has repeatedly attempted to cut funding for these centers, despite our Air Force being the oldest, smallest, and least combat ready in history. By including my amendment protecting funding for all four CRTCs through FY 2025, we are equipping our brave service members with the necessary tools to protect our freedoms and guard against international threats to democracy,” said Rep. Carter.
